Specialization and Responsibilities
Thomas Fischöder graduated 2010 his B.Sc. degree in Biotechnology at the University of Applied Sciences FH Aachen, Campus Jülich. In 2014, he successfully achieved his Master degree (M.Sc.) for molecular an applied Biotechnology at RWTH Aachen University. Within his doctoral studies supervised by Prof. Dr. Elling, at the Laboratory for Biomaterials, Institute for Biotechnology & Helmholz-Insitute for Biomedical Engineering, he focused on the modularization of novel multi-enzyme cascades and synthesis strategy development.
In October 2019, he joined the team of the project house center for molecular transformations. Here, he is focussing on projects with biochemical, biotechnology and bioprocess engineering profile as well as on follow-up projects of the exchange program ACalNet.
