Specialization and Responsibilities
Anja Fink (M. Sc. & M.A.) studied chemistry at RWTH Aachen University. Due to her enthusiasm for sustainable chemical processes, she began her doctoral studies at the Institute of Technical and Macromolecular Chemistry in the group of Prof. Dr. Regina Palkovits, in 2017. Within the BMBF project Kopernikus Power-to-X, she investigated the heterogeneously catalyzed production of oxymethylene dimethyl ethers (OME), which can contribute to emission reduction as a synthetic diesel additive from renewable resources.
Prior to this, Anja Fink worked for five years in London (UK) in the field of marketing and project management. She received her Master’s degree in Communications with a focus on knowledge management at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK).
In October 2020, Anja Fink joined the team of the Center for Molecular Transfomations. Her expertise lies in the development of sustainable, catalyzed reactions for the use of renewable resources and energy storage in the scope of the energy transition. She is responsible for the Prep Fund C4PR and supports the projects NAMOSYN and SusChemSys 2.0.
