Specialization and Responsibilities
Viktoria Rakers studied biochemistry at ETH Zürich. From 2014 to 2018, she performed her doctoral studies at Imperial College London focusing on improved binders for G-quadruplex DNA. As part of her PhD program, she also spent some time at Caltech, California, where she worked on metalloinsertors.
Dr. Rakers joined the team of the project house CMT in October 2018. There, she covers the interface between biology and chemistry with a specific emphasis on microplastic projects. Furthermore, her resposibilities include the running projects ACal-IRES and BioSorp .
